Ouch!!!

Wow it's been awhile since I've posted. Sorry, I told you I wasn't good at this. Any who, things are going good. Brock is plumping out and he is getting so long. Holy smokes this kid may be very tall. Brandon says he has to cash in on him when he gets older, put that height to good use. The girls are done with dance until the fall and I still need to get those cute pictures up of them in their dance costumes. Jazmin tried out for the competiton team last week and we are still waiting to see if she has made it or not. I have signed up for this boot camp in Lehi and I cannot walk for the life of me. Yesterday was my first day and oh my heck I started to feel sore towards the end of the day. When I got up this morning it was pretty bad. I had a hard time getting done the stairs. This morning's work out was pretty good. I have no stomach muscles what so ever so I couldn't do as much as he was saying. It's for 6 weeks and so I'm hoping that I will get down pre pregnancy weight and get toned up. I'm trying really hard on doing the diet and so far so good. I do get tempted but I stand my ground. Well gotta get going.

Tired of cleaning

It's been awhile since I've last posted something up so I thought I would take a break from cleaning and give a little updates. There's actually nothing to exciting going on with me crazy little life.

Today was Brock's 4 month check up and it went pretty good, well except for the shot part but that was to be expected. In a month and a half the little guy has put on some weight. Brock weight 7 lbs 10 oz at his 2 week check up and now he was 12 lbs 9 oz! He has gotten so big too. I can't remember what his lenght is but he grew a lot. They grow so fast it's not fair! You just want them to stay little forever. I just treasure as much as I can because I am so lucky to have him here with us. The girls totally love him to death! I think Mariah will be the closest to him. She is so cute because she always helps me with him and is always by his side. Jazmin is cute with him too. She always wants to hold him and be a little mommy to him.

This weekend is the girls recital so that will be fun kind of. I have to be there all day because they are both in separate shows. I just hope Mariah doesn't get grumpy for the recital (her show is at 2 jazmin's is at 11). I will have to post pictures of them in their cute little recital outfits.

Give Props to Brandon

It's been awhile since I've posted anything and I'm sorry I've been really busy with 3 kids! It's like I have to hurry and do things within 15 mins before Brock gets mad or wakes up. He has been taking little cat naps the only time he takes long naps is when he is on the go. I seriously have to be moving with him or take him for a ride or walk.

I was meaning to post something before mother's day to wish all of you moms a happy mother's day but we went up north to visit family so I didn't have time to give a shout out. Brandon gave me such a nice gift that I will always treasure. He gave me a frame that says " There is no way to be a perfect mother... but a million ways to be a good one. There are times when I feel like a bad mom and I'm always trying to be perfect but that never works out. Even though I'm not a perfect mom, because no one is, I'm trying to be a good one. Brandon said he would not want my job as being a mom because it is very hard. Brock takes up a lot of my time and I have two other kids to take care of. I have to balance my time with them to make sure they don't feel left out. Being a mom is very hard work but I wouldn't trade it for anything. My kids mean the world to me and even though they can drive me nuts I love them to death!

I love Brandon! He does unexpected things for me all the time and sometimes I don't give him the thanks he deserves. We went out to eat on Tuesday with some friends and after dinner we went to Maggie Moos and he totally surprised me with something. Tim Mcgraw is coming to concert here next month and I was going to renew my membership so that I can get presale tickets, well I wasn't able to because I had Brock. I missed out when the tickets went on sale through smith tixs so I just figured oh well I've already seen him 3 times I think I'll live if I miss this concert. I never bugged Brandon for tickets and Tuesday night he told me I was going to Tim Mcgraw. He bought tickets for me. So now I'm excited to see Timmy for the fourth time. So thanks you Brandon and I love you!!!

May Day

So May officially started out pretty crappy yesterday because it was snowing!!! Can you believe it snow on the first day of May what the heck! I'm just hoping that this crappy weather will stop and let's see some good sunny weather for crying out loud.

Today is my birthday and it's been pretty good so far. We are going out to Tucanos to eat with my family so that will be fun. The best thing that I got for my birthday is just being with my kids and having Brock here healthy. I couldn't ask for anything more than that.

Jazz play tonight so hopefully they will beat the Rockets so they can end the series and go on to play the Lakers, which they probably don't have a fighting chance with the Lakers, but hey it could happen. GO JAZZ!!!

I got pictures taken of the girls and Brock last week so hopefully I will be getting them soon so I can post them. Brock was very gumpy little boy so I'm hoping that there are at least a couple of pictures of him that turned out.

Back to Old Self

Today I went to my 2 week post op and it went good. The doctor said my inciscion is looking good and hopefully it stays that way! I was pretty pumped when I asked him when I could start working out again and he said I can start walking right now and basically build my self up. I can start to lift heavy things a month from the last surgery which is coming up really soon! I'm dying to hit the gym and get this blah of a stomach to go down and get all toned up and shed some pounds. I'm hoping that I will be able to get down to what I looked liked before I got pregnant so I can fit into my old jeans.

Ok enough of that I wanted to say that I finally finished Brock's rag quilt! I worked on it last night and it was hard because Brock did not want to be in his car seat anymore he wanted me to hold him so that put me behind. It doesn't look that bad for being my first rag quilt. Brandon told me it looked good so that made me happpy.

Well I better get caught up with the laundry. I swear I miss a day and it get all piled up it never will ever end from here on out.

Little person extra load

Well I've made it through the week of being by myself with 3 kids! That was no easy fete either because I had to constantly yell at the girls to stop fighting. It was so much easier to handle with 2 because you have 2 arms, but add another that gets kind of tough. I just need to grow an extra arm. It's amazing how life changes as soon as you throw in a new baby. We are so use to going out to eat every weekend or going to a movie, that all changes now for awhile. I'm in lock down mode with Brock until the end of this month when RSV season is over. I don't want him getting sick and having to go to the hospital again that would so suck! Brandon is wondering why I'm being over protective but I just want to make sure he doesn't get sick with that nasty virus. I'm so excited for when Brandon comes home today because I actually get to get out of the house for a couple of hours tonight and go shopping. Brandon is going to watch the kids and I'm heading to the store to get Jazmin a couple of outfits for spring and get some other things that I need. I'm so excited. I've been inside for the last 3 weeks! I'm going crazy! I can't wait for next week when I get to run the girls around and get back to our daily routine. This week was spring break so they didn't have dance and Jazmin doesn't have school. That should help a ton with my little cabin fever I've got going on. Now if only the weather would just stay warm and stop snowing and dropping into the 40's that would be perfect!
