Good to be home!!!

It's so good to be home, finally! I got back yesterday afternoon and was so happy but not happy about the huge mess that came with being home. I was gone almost a week and as much as I love my family I was going nuts. Brandon wasn't too much fun because of his surgery so I just sat around and ate. I swear I gained like 20 pounds eating the scrumptious fudge that my mother-in-law made. I did have a good Christmas though so I can't complain too much. Brandon had his surgery on Christmas Eve and it went really good. His surgery lasted an hour and he seems to be recovering being good. He has to take something for the pain here and there but that's normal with a sinus surgery. We ended up staying at my in-laws house for Christmas because of a little holiday "cheer" that arose with me and my mom but things are all patched up between us now. The girls loved what they got and Brock, well he doesn't know what Christmas is but he did enjoy eating the wrapping paper. The girls got a really neat doll house completely furnished, a pink .22 rifle (I know, complimentary of their dad), a karaoke machine, dvd's, and other things that I can't think of right now. Brock got tonz of clothes, the kid is growing like a week out of his clothes I just bought him 2 months ago. I got a really nice camera so I can take lots of pictures of my kids and stuff. It was a good Christmas but there is nothing like your being in your own sweet home to relax.

Stocking Stuffers

I can't believe how fast Christmas comes each year. I swear the more kids you have the faster Dec 25 creeps up on you. I have to say I have really slacked on things this year. I usually will make pumpkin rolls in November and I will freeze them so when I make some in Dec I have a good little stash for Brandon to take to work. I didn't do that this year in fact I haven't made one pumpkin roll or Christmas sugar cookies at all. It just has been so busy that I'm too tired to get to all that baking. I was pumped that I finished some goodies for Brandon's team, my mother in law helped me with that and I'm glad cause it took awhile to get those done. I passed out all the neighbor gifts today, yeah now I just need to finish packing to head up to my mom's tomorrow. We are doing Christmas up north because on Christmas Eve Brandon is getting his sinus surgery at the University of Utah hospital so it will be easier just to do Christmas up north, I think. We decided to do stocking stuffers today so the kids got to get into their stockings and totally loved it. I wanted to do some kind of Christmas at our own little home.

This Christmas has been a rough Christmas for some families and I'm so thankful that Brandon's job has been doing very well. Brandon and I feel pretty good because we were able to help one of our friends out for Christmas this year. Instead of using a gift certificate for ourselves Brandon gave it to a friend so I was pretty happy for that kind gesture my husband. I think the best present that I could ever possible have and will have forever is my family. I love my kids and husband. It's the best to see their smiling faces when they get to open their presents. Brock hasn't reached that yet but it will come. I do have to say he seemed happy to get some puffs, his favorite little snack.

I might not be able to post anything after today since my mom has very slow internet connection so I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Winter Wonderland

This weekend we went up to Snowbird for Brandon's work Christmas party and I was a little nervous because of the snow storm that was coming. When we got there, safely, I couldn't believe how gorgeous it looked. The snow just covered everything and it looked so pretty. Then I get out of the truck and it was freezing cold and I realized how much I hated the snow! Holy moley it was so cold up there. I went out to take these pictures and I hurried back in the lodge cause I was done being outside. We stayed overnight and our room was very comfy. It was a good party except for the food, that was gross. Brandon got an award and it was pretty interesting to put faces to names now.

I got up and I wanted to get ready and get off that mountain ASAP because my in-laws came, they watched the kids, and they don't have 4-wheel drive so I was nervous for them. Brandon drove their car down and I drove the truck and I was getting scared for him because going down was pretty steep. All in all it as a fun evening. Now I need to finish the rest of the shopping and just enjoy the holidays, hopefully.

Lil Stinker

So last week we finally finished putting the ornaments on the Christmas tree, and all of the decorating in the house is all done! Yeah, I'm not looking forward when I have to take it all down though it's such a pain. So I was thinking that this year would be the only year that I wouldn't have to worry about Brock playing with the tree since he can't crawl or walk yet, I was wrong. He has learned to scoot backwards and if he's close to the tree he will play with the ornaments. I have to put them a little higher so they are out of his reach. I'm like you are 8 months old I shouldn't have to be doing this yet. My girls were really good about not touching the tree I have a feeling that Brock will be the one that I'm going to have to put everything high on the tree. The kid is everywhere. He is so busy and never holds still, holy cow. I'm not use to this the girls were so calm. I do have to say he is an excellent sleeper though. He goes to bed about 6:30 pm and wakes up once to get a bottle and goes right back to sleep. He will wake up around 7 or so. The girls did that too so I'm lucky I have really good sleepers. Here's a picture of Brock playing with the tree.

Night Out

I just want to say that my husband is the best! I asked him in the middle of the week of I could go Christmas shopping on Friday and he said yes and mentioned to invite one of my friends. I told him that she didn't know if she wanted to get a babysitter since she's stopped napping her kids they have been a little on the grumpy side. He then tells me to tell her to bring them over and he will watch them (her husband is out of town on a business trip). I was like are you sure that's 6 kids to watch by yourself. I asked her and she was like ok if he wants to. So we went out around 7:30, 8 and got back around 10 pm and things went great. Brock went to sleep around 6:30 pm and stayed asleep (he is so good like that), and Brandon just made the kids popcorn and they all just watch a movie. We got so much done it was great. I only need to get Brandon, Brock, and just a few more things for the girls. It sounds like a lot but it isn't. It was great to go out away from the kids and just shop with a friend. My husband is the best and he get double kudos for this!!!

Tough Times

This has been such a crappy year for a lot of people that we know because of their jobs being loss. I always get saddened when I hear friends of ours, or even family members losing their jobs right as the holidays are coming or on the holidays. The economy is horrible and I hate to think that we are heading into a depression. We read about the great depression in school and now I'm thinking are my kids going to learn about this recession that's going on right now. It's times like these we need to lend a helping hand to those in need. It doesn't necessarily have to be financially but call up those that are having problems and let them know you love them, are thinking about them or ask if there is anything you can do for them. It might just be that they need someone to talk to get their mind of their situation. I'm hoping we get out of this slump fast and jobs start coming back to those in need because it's not looking to great. Let's keep up the Christmas spirit for those that are having a hard time right now.

Black Friday Madness

I don't know why I do it but every year I do the whole shopping on black Friday and it's just absolutely chaos. I have no clue why on earth I would want to get up at 3 am get ready (I feel gross if I go just rolling out of bed, teeth brushed and shop for 5 hours) and head to the stores. It's also amazing I always see the same people on that day from high school, or grade school shopping but I never see them whenever I head up north and we are there all the time. My sister and I arrived at Walmart at 4 am (5 am was what time shopping began) I got at my station (electronics) and my sister at hers and as I was talking to people asking what time they were there I was like you are nuts. This girl was there at 2 am waiting by the Xbox 360! 2 a.m.! Nuts! I was scared for my life once those boxes came off. I grabbed my thing (navigation system) and got they heck out of there (tried). My uncle was one of the lucky ones that got the Xbox thanks to me. If I hadn't called him at 4 am and told him to get here there would have been no chance he would have gotten that thing for such a good deal. After Walmart we headed to Ogden and went to some stores and then headed back home. I was so stinkin tired I took a 2 hour nap and still was tired. I still need to get lots of stuff for people but the things I got were great deals.

While we were up North we went to see twilight. I have to say that I think I must be the few that didn't like the movie. I was bored! I thought the book was way better but books always are. There are some parts that I thought were pretty cool but I thought it was slow and boring. I'm hoping New Moon will be a little bit better.

Well it's getting late and I better get my rest. I ended up getting sick over Thanksgiving and still trying to get over it. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving

Well I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving even though we are still 2 days away but I probably won't be posting anything til after Thanksgiving. I just want to say how thankful I am for the things that I have. I am so thankful for Brandon and all that he does for us. He works so hard at work and at home that there are times I don't give him enough credit so I love you Brandon! I am so thankful for my beautiful 3 children that I have. It is such a blessing to have such sweet little ones in the house. I know they drive me up the wall but I love them and I am proud to be their mom. I am so thankful for Jazmin and all she does for me and her sister and brother. Mariah, I am thankful that she have finally gotten over her shyness! Hooray! I am thankful for the little things she says to me when it's the two of us. Brock, I am so thankful he is here! He is such a joy and I don't know what would do without him. I am thankful for my parents and my in laws they have been such a tremendous help that without them I would be going nuts! I am thankful for all the friends that I have and for what an inspiration each one of them bring to me. So with that said Happy Thanksgiving!

Polar Express

We finally went on the Polar Express on Friday night! We have been wanting to go since we've lived here (3 years) and finally did. I know it's a little early to start thinking about Christmas but the stupid train ride always gets sold out when we want to go so I figured hey let's go early. It was way fun the kids loved it. We were suppose to go on the 5 pm train and we missed the train by 3 mins. We were trying to get the conductor to stop but he didn't luckily we were able to get the 7:30 train. I bought the tickets online and it didn't say anything about getting there 30 mins early so we made sure we were 30 mins early for the next train. The next day we went up north for my little brother's birthday party and he got Rock Band 2 and it was so awesome! My sister, my brother and I totally jammed out and we named our band Los Hermanos. I had a blast, but they made me the singer. I wasn't a very good singer but hey it was all in fun and games. My poor girls were embarrassed of me I think cause Mariah went to Brandon and told him that I wasn't a very good singer he just laughed. Brandon told me I was banned from that game and was embarrassed to call me his wife. I had fun though! My throat is a little sore today though. I am going to have fun on Thanksgiving!

What a sort week though, huh. I can't believe that Christmas is around the corner. I've got to get in shape for the day after thanksgiving. Yes, I do the whole madness that is called Black Friday, but I knocked out half of my Christmas shopping that day. I'm looking at the sales as we speak so I can get a plan on where to go and how to get it. Move out of my way people I'm coming through. Here on pics of Polar Express enjoy!

Motherly Instincts

I am so tired today! Last night we finally moved Brock out of our room into his room, which is currently the toy room, and I didn't sleep a wink. I forget how sad it is when you move your baby out of the room. He wasn't sleeping in our bed he's in a bassinet just so you all know that. I would be on 7 1/2 months of no sleep if he was in our bed. I kept waking up and every little noise I would hear on the monitor got me up. I love having these motherly instincts but man sometimes it's at the wrong time of the day or I should say night. I am hoping tonight I will get a good night's sleep since I am going to bed before 11 pm. I know I'm nuts going to bed that late but it's nice to just relax a bit when all the kids are asleep. Good night everyone!

Happpy Birthday Jazmin!

Today is Jazmin's 6th birthday! I can't believe how fast they grow up! She is my little social bug and I'm so proud of all that she has done in her little life. She is so full of energy and has such a sweet little spirit to her. She drives me nuts, but I love her and I'm so thankful for all that she does for me. She watches Brock for me when I'm putting clothes away, she will organize the junk cupboard on her own without me asking her to do it. She went in the basement and cleaned it up for me. She is sweet. We love you Jazmin.

Family Pictures

So we got back our family pictures today, and they turned out cute. There were a couple of them that either the kids faces, or the lighting. It's been a long time since we've gotten pictures taken as a family so I'm excited. Now I've got to pick which one I want for a Christmas card, and to put up on the wall. Here are just a couple of pictures. Enjoy

Yeah for Saturday

Today was a very good Saturday for many reasons:
-It wasn't cold
-It didn't rain
-Got my nails done
-Took family pictures
-Brock wasn't grumpy for family pictures
-Did something together as a family
-Relaxed at home for a bit
-Took the girls to go see High School Musical 3

I was so pumped to have finally taken our family pictures and I'm crossing fingers that they turned out good. Brock did awesome! Well he had a hard time looking at the camera. I swear that boy is ADD. Everything and anything would grab his attention except for Ericka rattling her keys, and shaking his little snack bottle. Megan got some really cute shots so hopefully!

Oh yeah we finally got new phones on Wednesday, yeah! Our phones were looking pretty ghetto. If I would text a message it wouldn't get to that person until a week later, and my number 4 button didn't work. I like our new phones except for I'm going to die dialing a number because it's a touch screen phone. I'm going to try not to dial while I'm driving. It's got a navigation system in it and it works! We tested it out today going to our photo shot location.

The girls finally got to see HSM3. They have wanted me to take them since opening day and today was a perfect day because 1) all the hoopla has died down, and 2)we were actually home. Brandon stayed home and watched Brock while we had a girls night out. Yeah we won't be going to the movies all togther like we use to due to the fact that Brock is such a wiggle wart. The girls loved them movie and I thought it was alright. I preferred the first two.

So yeah for today because it was a perfect day! Tomorrow is another day and another start to the week.

October Fun

Here are a couple of pictures that I took for the month of October. We took the kids to Hee Haw farms one Saturday and they totally had fun. Halloween was also very fun minus the rain during trick or treating. Jazmin was a vampire, Mariah a nice witch, and Brock was a little lion. He was a good lion and didn't even tug on his costume he just sat in his stroller and just hung out. It was a fun night except for when I started to feel crappy but hey totally worth it watching the girls have fun.

I HATE COMPUTERS (sometimes)

Okay I just want to let you all know that computers are the most frustrating things in the whole world. I finally have my computer back after being down for like a week. It's had a couple of issues and I swear if it happens again I'm going to get Brandon's shot gun and shoot it!! I have tonz of pictures to post up of Hee Haw farms, and lots to tell about surgery and Brandon's surgery. I have to run Mariah off to dance but I will fill you all in soon.

I'm Back

Ok, so it's been awhile but I have a good reason for not posting anything up. The first reason is our stupid Internet was being blocked so we took it to someone to have our computer all cleaned out and the second reason I had my surgery. Yeah I seriously don't know what I was thinking when I wanted to get my tonsils out. It seriously sucked! I puked when I got home after the surgery so that wasn't fun at all! I am now on day 5 and I'm fine other than my throat starts to hurt so I take some ibuprofen. It still is hard to eat some foods so I'm kind of still on liquids. I tried to eat a hamburger patty and I was ok but it's still not that same without the bun! When I'm ready to eat I am going on a food binge. I've lost some weight so that will all come back here pretty soon. I felt bad for my girls cause they were cooped up in the house since Thursday so today we went to the mall. My in laws came so that helped a bunch! So now I'm healing Brock is getting better (he has been a sick baby), and Brandon goes for surgery on Friday. I'm hoping he will heal pretty fast cause I don't know what I'm going to do if he's down. He is the one that helps me with the girls when they don't listen to me. So it's good to be back full into my routine after being down for 3 days!

Big 28 Yesterday

Happy Birthday to Brandon yesterday! It was Brandon's birthday yesterday and it's always fun for me to tease him how old he is and how he's almost 30. I've been saying that to him for 5 years now. It was a good quiet birthday. He was feeling a little sick (fighting a sinus infection) so we just stayed in and ate pizza. We got a surprise visit from the Belnaps and they brought over krispie creams. Thanks a lot guys I can feel my gut getting bigger as I keep eathing those doughnuts. It was a nice visit though.

I'm so pumped for Brandon to get this surgery though because now he won't feel crumby all the time. He seriously been sick since I've had Brock. I'm thinking it's been that long.

Things are going good. The weather totally made a big drop today. We went from the
60-70's to the 40's today. It's really cold!!!

We got bunk beds for the girls last week and they totally love them! They were so pumped. They each get a week one top so there's no fighting. They may love the beds but I totally hate making the top bunk. I didn't think it would be such a pain but it is!!!

I'm really excited for Halloween. I can't wait till the kids get to wear their costumes. Mariah wants me and Brandon to dress up. She wants me to be a witch and Brandon a gorilla. I have no clue where she got that from. He said if I can find one that fits he will wear it. I think I'll be looking through the phone book.

Time Flies

I can't believe how fast this year has gone! It's already October and the next thing you know halloween will come and go and Christmas is here. Life has been so busy for us lately. Brandon has finally done with his hunting season (I think). He went away this past weekend to help a friend get an elk but no luck. He's debating whether or not to go deer hunting in Southern Utah in 2 weeks. I really don't mind but it kind of gets hard when he leaves because the girls start to act up. He doesn't really want to go because he misses us, sweet huh.

I will be going under the knife in two weeks and I'm actually kind of scared. The last time I got surgery I ended up going back to the hospital ten days later for an infection, and I had a horrible horrible cough that wouldn't go away. I never did my breathing thing, which would have helped. I'm not getting anything too serious done just my tonsils out. Hey we've met our deductible so I might as well get them out. I hope that I come out pretty good with no pain, because a week after my surgery Brandon is getting surgery too. He is getting a sinus surgery done. Poor guy has had tonz of sinus infections that he never gets better. He has already had a sinus surgery done but this one will be a little bit more tricky than the last. I'm hoping his recovery won't be too bad. So our month of October will be grand, don't you all agree.

We have once again canceled our trip to Hawaii this year because Jazmin's dance company got invited to dance at Disneyland and she wants to dance there really bad. She seriously begged us so we gave in and so we are off to Disneyland in April over spring break. It will be fun to watch her dance and go but not looking forward about going over spring break when everyone and their dog go to Disneyland.

I hope I've caught everyone up to date with what we've been up too these days. I'm hoping I will blog before I go under the knife. See ya.

The Camo Family

Here's pictures of when we went camping with Brandon while he was on his elk hunt. It was fun and the girls had a blast. They loved it when they got to go squirl hunting. I've sadly realized that my girls may want to go hunting with their dad. Oh well I'll just stay at camp and sit in the trailer watching movies and staying warm. I had tonz of fun and I was only cold when we got ready to go to bed. Brock did great!! He was way bundled up and slept like a champ. I hope you all enjoy the pictures and yes Brandon got his elk a 5x6. I told him not bad for his first elk hunt.

It's all good!!!!

Sorry it's been awhile since the last time I've blogged and you are all probably wondering how Brock's MRI went. I took Brock to his check up last wednesday and I got the results. I was kind of nervous but I knew it was going to be ok because of how well he has developed so I was preparing for whatever he was ready to give me. Brock's small spot that they found has totally disappeared!!! It's gone there is nothing there anymore!! We know don't have to worry about anything with his development so that's a huge relief! I'm glad that he's ok, but I was prepared to deal with anything. If something was wrong we would have dealt with it and figured things out. This kid is so amazing! In 2 months he grew 3 inches! He went from 25 to 28 inches putting him in the 94 percentile. His weight is 18 lbs.

We went camping with Brandon this weekend and he got his elk that he's dreamed of. Well it's not a monster elk but it's a decent size for his first one. I will post pictures as soon as possible

So Lonely

I normally sit at the computer this late and blog but I'm so bored. Friday nights are usually the nights that me, Brandon and the kids go out and do something. It's either going to dinner, going to a movie, or watching a movie at home, but it's a little different tonight. Brandon has gone off on his elk hunt. He has been so excited about this hunt and I'm finally glad it's here for him. I've been hearing him talk about it, listened to his annoying elk calls, and watching the hunting channel about elk hunting (I usually would watch for a second and then go upstairs). He left last night and let me tell you how crazy it was for me today. I really haven't noticed all the little things he does to make mornings a lot easier on me. I'm trying to get the girls ready and Brock is screaming his head off because he wants to be held. The girls are fighting constantly, and for some reason Jazmin was giving me total attitude today. I seriously thought I was going to kill the girls. It got a lot better in the evening though. I rented them a movie, popped popcorn for them and let them take it to their room to eat their snacks and watch their movie. I was resting and watching my movie I rented and relaxed (Brock was asleep). I really am grateful for Brandon and all that he does for me and kids. It's the small things that really do matter and they usually go unnoticed. I'm hoping he gets his elk tomorrow (opening day), and he comes home on Sunday or I'm going to have kill something myself if this doesn't happen tomorrow. I'm thinking a day at the spa when he comes home (for me that is), don't you all agree.

Crazy week

I'm so sorry that I haven't updated Brock's MRI last week. I've seriously did nothing but run around doing things all last week. I had Brock's MRI, a doctor appointment, back to school night, the girl's gymnastics, dance, and getting my hair and nails done. I was wiped out that I ended up getting sick on Friday. I felt so crumpy on Friday I just wanted to go to bed but I went up north for Peach Days. It was fun being able to run into people that I hadn't seen in awhile but I also was afraid to run into people because I just don't want to open certain chapters up in my life.

Brock's MRI went really good. He was so cute and happy until they put his IV in him, but I would cry to if I got poked twice with a needle. His last feeding was at 2 am and he didn't eat until he was semi awake. He was so good in the morning. I thought that he was going to scream the whole way to the hospital cause he wanted to eat,but nope little guy proved me wrong. It was sad when he got poked though and the little bugger wouldn't go to sleep so that had to give him a little bit medicine to get him to sleep. When they were all done scanning and he got back to his room he was so tired. He had the hardest time getting up and his little head kept drifting off. He did good though. I will get the results next week at his doctor's visit. I think things are ok with him though. He rolled from his tummy to his back today and he almost ate the whole thing of sweet potatoes today. Pretty good for his first feeding of food. He's a cutie pie and I love him to death!

Yeah for Fall

Goodbye summer, hello fall! I'm so excited that fall is here, well not officially but weather wise yes. I've been so sick of the heat that I was ready for a temperature change. I love it when it starts to cool down and the leaves on the trees start to change colors. It's so beautiful to look at the mountains during fall and it looks like the big flame of fall colors coming out. I love the smell in the air of fall and love that we don't have to have the air conditioner on! It's been nice walking Jazmin to school the last couple of days and been cool weather instead of the blazing heat!

Tomorrow is Brock's MRI and I really don't want to have to see him hooked up to anything. They have to sedate him to do his MRI. I told Brandon I want to go visit his nurse so she can see how big he has gotten the last 5 1/2 months. You really get attached to the nurses there because they are taken care of your baby for you. They are making sure your baby is getting the proper care they can possibly give them. The nurses there (some) were awesome and I am so thankful for all that they did for him. Yeah for NICU Nurses!

Going Crazy

Ok so I am so going crazy so far. Brock has been such a sweet little angel until now! All he does is cry when he's not being held and he seriously takes like 20 minute naps. That is so not long enough for me! By the time I put him down and clean somewhat he's up and crying. He's in the teething stage right now so that's way he's so fussy and he has a little cold on top of that. when I get all the kids off to bed that's my time so I go and hit the gym. I hate working out late but I would rather work out at night right now because of how my day goes.

School is going great for Jazmin right now. The school nurse called me on Tuesday and told me Jazmin threw up so I had to go get her. The second day of school and she threw up. I felt bad for her. When I walked in the office she saw me and started to cry. I felt like a horrible mom because I shipped her off to school after she had complained about a headache that morning. I thought it was just a headache so I gave her some pain reliever thinking it would go away. Nope, not in this case. She was fine after noon or so. She just had a little bug I guess.

Labor weekend it coming and we really don't have any plans. That's good because it will be good to just relax for a bit. Brock's MRI is coming up, next Wednesday. I have to be at the hospital at 7:30 and will be there for a couple of hours. I will all let you know how that goes. Crossing fingers it's nothing but good news.

School Days

Mariah's First day of preschool

Jazmin getting ready to go to school

In her classroom

Well it's official today, Jazmin has now begun her education. Today from here on out she will be learning new things, making new friends, having school lunch or cold lunch. Oh I'm so old now!!! This morning was Jazmin's first day of kindergarten. We walked and Jazmin rode her bike. We put her bike on the bike rack and chained it up and walked her into her class. I think at first she was a little scared but that went away quickly when I showed her, her chubby with her school supplies in it. She was so excited to go to school today. I woke her up, did her hair, made breakfast, brushed her teeth and she was ready to go, but we still had like 2 hours until school. She put her backpack on after her hair was done and did not take it off until I finally told her to take it off. She had fun.

Mariah had her first day of preschool last Thursday and she loved it. She told me she shut the door when she went on the potty (she doesn't do that at home). Wow two kids in school now and one at home it's like heaven. I don't have to listen to fighting, or screaming for at least 2 1/2 hours a day what more can I ask for.

6 years of wedded bliss

After riding and waking up at 5 a.m.

So it was our 6 year anniversary on Sunday and we decided to take a little get away vacation. We headed up to bear lake and went 4-wheeling. I know not the typical anniversary day but I wanted to do something fun. I knew Brandon wanted to go 4-wheeling in his area for elk hunt so I decided hey why not go with him. It was way fun. We went on the trails and we also found Old Ephiram's grave. For those of you who don't know the story of old Ephiram it was the last grizzle bear in utah that would eat farmer's sheep and cattle. This bear was huge standing at 9 ft 11 inches was shot by a guy named Frank Clark. There was this rock that showed how big he was and it was huge. So that was fun. We rode for hours and went back to this little cabin that we stayed at and took a nap. We had dinner at this diner in Bear Lake and went back to the cabin and watched the Olympics. It wasn't much but it was fun.

Speaking of the Olympics, I am ready for the games to be over. I can't stay awake that late much longer it's killing me. Brandon and I have been Olympic addicts. Seriously that's all we do is watch the games!

I went to Jazmin's kindergarten assesment on Monday and met her teacher and she has morning kindergarten! Yeah! I was going to throw a fit if she got p.m. just because of her activites that she has going on. She has dance on Mondays (she made the competition team), and then tumbling on Thursday. It doesn't sound much but I'm the one that is driving everywhere so it's alot. Mariah starts preschool on Thursday and she's so excited. Can you believe it I will have one kid at home on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 2 hours! Wow.

Whoa Jazmin

A couple of weekends ago we went fishing with our friends, the Belnaps, out to Strawberry. It was nice we ate tonz of junk food on the boat and just talked. I've always told Brandon that I want to catch a huge fish and he said we this could be your day. Well how come Jazmin, Brandon, and Taylor all caught fish but me and Jazmin caught the biggest fish of the day, a 20 inch cutthroat trout! She reeled that sucker in all by herself too! It was quite funny because she told Brandon that she got a fish and as she was reeling she tells him it's a big one. Brandon was like yeah right and Taylor was like no she really does have a big fish get the net, and sure enough she reels in this whooper. She was sad because she couldn't keep it, fishing regulations it has to be at least 21 inches, but she got to hold it and we took her picture. She I got out fished by a 5 year old!

Vaction Pictures

Here are some pictures of our vaction. They aren't exactly in the order of our trip but oh well. We went and drove along the coast and it was very cold! You will be able to tell by the girls in one picture. We went and played on the beach one day and that was cold. Mariah forgot to get her hoodie so she is wearing my wrap. Brandon is holding a little crab that Jazmin found in the sand. Hope you enjoy them.

Internet Issues

Wow, it's bee forever since I've last posted anything. We have been back from our vaction now for a week and I was planning on blogging our vaction but our internet was down. It was the most annoying thing in the world! Brandon finally called our provider chewed them out canceled and called to get another provider installed, but we had to wait 5 days! What was I going to do for 5 days without the internet. It's not like I sit on the computer all day but I go online to look up different recipes, blog, or look at my friends blog page. So finally we got our new provider today and I will be posting pictures of out trip here by the end of the week.

Our trip was really awesome by the way! The coast was gorgeous and cold! Oregon was way more fun this year than last year! I enjoyed it a lot better and I wouldn't mind living there. It's the same size as Cedar and Grantspass was not a fast moving little town. Brandon may have us moving there sooner than I anticpated with all the animals he can hunt. He's decided he wants to be a fishing guide after his fishing guide trip that he took, and he's going back to Oregon in October for this cast and blast that they have. You go fishing for salmon on the boat and at the same time scare the geese up and blast them while in the boat. I know totally sound fun, yeah right. He is pretty pumped about that. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it though since he will be gone in Sept for elk hunt, Oct for deer hunt and then cast and blast. All I've got to say is I better be getting my diamond here pretty darn quick!

Island Park was really fun. We just hung around the cabin and went four wheeling and had fun. We really didn't do much but I was ok with that because I was so sick of all the driving we had done prior to going to Idaho.

Now I'm just gearing up for school to start and next month is Brock's MRI so hopefully that will go good. Brock is doing good by the way. I took him in last Monday for his 4 month check up and the doctor said he is doing fantastic for having a rough start in life. He thinks he will be fine but the MRI will tell us and even then we still have to watch his progression on how he will be doing. The kid is stinkin cute and he is huge. He is now 16 lbs and is 24.5 inches long. He is going to be my little basketball player. Well better get going but pictures will be posted soon.

Trip Excursion

Wow I can't believe that I've posted up two posts in one week. That's amazing for me! Well tomorrow we being the Godfrey trip excursion as I would like to call it. We fly out tomorrow morning and head to Portland, Oregon and we will be heading towards Grants Pass, Oregon, but before we go to Grants Pass we are going to drive the coast tomorrow and stay in California (northern) and play on the beach. On Friday we will spent a day in the Redwood Forest and explore and then head to Grants Pass. We made this trip last year but I was 2 months pregnant and I was so sick! We drove 16 hours in a RV with 4 adults 4 kids and one baby it was great fun let me tell you. I will never drive that again, but then again I'm not pregnant. While we are in Grants Pass we will be rafting the river, going on a river boat ride, and some other fun things that our friends have planned for us. Once we arrive next Wednesday I wash clothes rest pack up again and head up to Island Park, Idaho. We will be in Island Park for 3 days with Brandon's family so it will be fun. I will be very exhausted by the time we get home but it's our one big trip before Jazmin goes to school this August. I will post pictures up as soon as I recover from our trip so until then see ya!

Happy Birthday Mariah

It was Mariah's 4th birthday on Saturday and we had party for her in Brigham with our families. She had tonz of fun hitting her pinata, and opening her presents. She is so funny cause she loves the little toys (I hate them, because of their little parts that come with them). She got a polly pocket, a my little pony purse and you open it up and it's a house, and puppies in my pocket castle and fair thing. She had fun and I'm glad it's over. I found some pictures of her and realized how much she looks like Brock when she was a baby. I can't believe that Mariah is alread 4 years old and will be going to school next year. Can you believe it two children in school by next year! Wow!

Oh say can you see

The Fourth of July was really fun. The girls had a blast spending all day at the park and then where really excited to see the firewoks at the park. After that we headed to my mom's house and lit some firworks that we had bought. My mom still had a couple of illegal (gasp) fireworks that Brandon and I bought a couple of years ago and we lit those too. I always get so nervous to light those puppies because I'm afraid of the cops showing up, but like Brandon says they can't get to everyone that light illegal fireworks. I took a picture of the kids watching the fireworks.

Brandon finally went scouting for his big elk hunt coming up this september. My goodness he is so excited for it and I can't wait til it's here and done with. Frankly I'm getting tired of having to go downstairs and there he is watching some elk hunt on tv. I'm proud of him though cause this is a once in a lifetime hunt and he drew out for it (first time putting in too). I'm hoping he gets one but until we can sell our house that elk is staying somewhere other than my house.

Mariah's birthday is coming on saturday. She will be turing 4 years old! Where does the time go. They grow up so fast. Next thing I know Brock will be going to kindergarten. My kids are growing up way to fast, but I just have to cherish the time that I've got with them now because when they hit those teenage years they won't want to hang out with me anymore. I'm getting to old!
