Big huge mess!
Oh my goodness, I forgot how much packing up a house really really stinks! I feel like a bomb has gone off in my living room. There are clothes and toys everywhere! Since I was sooo tired of toys being everywhere I decided that I would box those puppies up this morning. I now pretty mean, but I made sure to leave a few out for Brock to play with. The girls really don't play with their toys anymore anyways so I figured hey, why not. I guess on the positive side of things I am totally de-junking our basement out. I can't believe how much crap we had down there. I am sooo glad to be getting rid of a lot of it. We sold our sectional, so now we have no where to sit and watch t.v. in our living room. I put it on ksl on Tuesday evening and had it sold 3 hrs. later. The guy who bought it got a screaming deal on it, $650. We just wanted to sell the thing so that's out of our way. Brandon comes home on Wednesday afternoon so I am pretty pumped about that. He will be here for 2 weeks and will head out on the 15th of March while I stay back home with the kids to wait for their passports. Brandon will come back for us 2 weeks later so I am hoping to leave by the first of April. Cross fingers that passports comes by then. Jazmin has her first competition tomorrow afternoon so I will have to post pictures up as soon as I can. Not too much to say since my day is all about boxing up our stuff so that when Brandon gets home it will be stored in a storage unit. Good bye for now.

Valentine Pictures
Here are some pictures from our little Valentine's Day that the kids and I had.
I came downstairs to this. Jazmin had setup the table and put this tablecloth on the table.

Brock loves basketball. Notice our family picture in the corner. He likes to carry it around the house and point to his daddy.

Cheese Brock!

The girls loved their valentine's day blanket and pillow

Goodbye old friend

So I've finally decided to pull the plug from Brock, this time for good! I had intended to take it away at 18 months but I didn't appreciate him waking up in the middle of the night crying. I then gave in and gave him his little buddy. So on Thursday I decided that I need to take it away from him because how is he suppose to talk if he has an object in his mouth all the time. He hadn't had it all day and bedtime was approaching and I came up with a solution so that he would sleep all night, benadryl. Yup, that's right I drugged my child so that he would sleep and not think about his "bee". It worked! He did wake up at 6 a.m. this next morning but hey it worked. The second day without his "bee" went smooth. I laid him down for his nap, with no benadryl, and no problems what so ever. He does ask for his "bee" but I just ignore him. I know it sounds mean but I figured I would try to take it away cold turkey and if that didn't work snip it. My other 2 I had no problems taking the pacifier away. Jazmin would bite the tip of it and didn't want to suck it anymore. So when she didn't want them anymore I stopped buying them. Mariah only had the pacifier for 3 months and she was done. Brock, well I made him take it. He didn't want anything to do with it but I wanted him to have it. It makes life so much easier if he is fussing to just stick the plug in. I am now on my 3rd day of no "bee" and it's going ok. He hasn't wanted to take a nap and he still asks for it but not as much. I just want him to talk a little more. I've noticed that since I've taken it away he has said a few more words. It's a little frustrating when I don't know what he wants and he is throwing a fit, sooo I'm hoping this will help him want to communicate with me a little more. We will see though.

Blah
Ok so ever since I've been back from my trip I have been sick! It all started with my throat hurting right before I left to go home. I was hoping that it would go away by the time I got home but nope it didn't. I was fine during the day but at night when I would lay down I would get a nasal drip and it was irritating my throat. I figured oh no need to go to the doctor, right. Brock ended up getting sick while I was at my parent's home the first weekend I was home and he got better by Sunday. I, on the other hand kept getting worse. I finally decided I better head to the doctor cause my throat was on fire. I figured I might have strep. So the next day I was fine. So no biggie right, wrong! My ear starts hurting. I told Brandon that my ear was hurting (this was last week) and I would go to the doctor. So made an appointment and I figured I had an ear infection. He looks in my ear and it's fine so they decided to swab me for strep and it comes back negative. The doctor tells me my ear is probably hurting from all the mucus that is draining down my throat. I am now going on week 3 and I still feel like crap! I have a stupid cough that WILL NOT go away and whenever I cough it hurts. I am hoping that it does not lead to bronchitis, which I'm sure it will. It has been nothing but sickness here in the Godfrey household and I am sick of it. Mariah has a lingering cough and Jazmin had strep last week and I am dealing with this all by myself when I feel like crap. Brandon needs to hurry home ASAP.
Valentine's day was a little lonely for me cause I didn't have my pookie. He's going to kill me cause I wrote that but oh well. Every year since we have been married Brandon has gotten me a big heart shaped sugar cookie and I seriously look forward to it. Even when I told him not to get me one last year cause I was trying to get skinny for Hawaii he still did. It's been a tradition that he has kept and gets the kids a cookie too. This year no cookie from the hubby but he did sent me and the girls some roses. I told him he better find someone place in the Philippines that will make a heart shape cookie for next year. So going back to Valentine's weekend we didn't do much. I took Jazmin into the doctor that morning and found out she had strep so plans for anything down the drain. Instead we ordered a pizza and we rented Night at the Museum 2 and watched it in my room. We had a little slumber party in my room. The girls beg to sleep in my room whenever they can so I let them. The next day, which was Valentine's, Jazmin went downstairs and setup the kitchen table. She put on the tablecloth, it was our fall one cause she couldn't find the red one, and she set the table and made sure the flowers where in middle. I gave the kids their valentine's gift and made them sausage pancakes. Later on we headed up to my parent's house and spend the night since the girls didn't have school the next day.
Today I told Jazmin's dance teacher that we were moving and she would only get to compete in one or two competition. I started to tear up a bit cause Jazmin loves loves dance and I am so proud of her on how much she has improved. This was a very hard decision to make but we need to be together with Brandon. Jazmin cried but she wants to be with her dad. Jazmin has been dancing with Misty since she was 2 and she has loved it. We will be back and she will hopefully be back on the competition team again.
So I've caught up a bit on my blog. I just need to post pictures of our little Valentine's day. That will be soon, I hope.

Big Move!
We are moving to the Philippines! After spending 11 days there and looking at houses, schools, hospitals, etc. I really felt comfortable. I didn't think that I would miss Cebu once I got home but surprisingly I do. I think it's the fact that Brandon is still over there and I miss him a lot. I told Brandon that I wanted the girls to finish school here in the states but after being home without him I can't do it. The kids miss him and I miss him and we just need to be together. Sooo we want to be moved by the end of March. I know kind of fast but all we are going to take is clothes and either sell stuff or store it. The school that we liked ends in April and starts back up in July so the girls can finish school there and then we can play and have fun before they go back to school. Brandon is working on trying to find us a house and I talked to a guy that will manage renting our house out. Brandon comes home on March 3rd and I was a little overwhelmed about having to pack everything up in a month but he has nothing to do while he's home so the packing shouldn't be too bad. I don't know we will see. The thing that bummed me out is having to pull the kids out of school and dance towards the end of the school year. Jazmin was really bummed about dance cause she loves to dance and she loves the competition team. She will only be able to go to 1 or 2 competitions and that is it, well if everything goes as plan. I know that there are a lot of people that think we are nuts moving half way across the world but when u know it's right you know it's right. I never thought in a million years that I would ever move out of Utah or the States. This will be good for our family and it will be very good for our kids. We will see how everything goes and I will post more about the move as I find out more things.

Home at Last
I got back home yesterday afternoon, and boy it was a very very long flight/day. My plane didn't leave until 12:05 a.m. in Cebu and it was very hard to say goodbye to Brandon. I miss him so much and this will be the longest I've been away from him so it's going to be a very lonely month. I slept pretty good on the plane from Cebu to Korea and I arrived in Korea a little after 6 a.m. and my flight to Tokyo was departing at 11:50 a.m.! I slept a little at the airport and my phone rang and it was Brandon so talked to him for a bit. I had a crazy asian lady keep talking to me and I had no clue what the heck she was saying. I then pretended to go to sleep. She kept walking back and forth and I got cold so I put my hoodie on. She then walks towards me and pulls on my hoodie. She was trying to fix it I guess. Freaked me out a bit that's for sure. I was sooo bored in the airport. I would get up and walk around a couple of times cause I got tired of reading my book or listen to my ipod. I did fly to Tokyo and it wasn't that bad. I found some Americans who were going to L.A. too so I just followed then to get a transit ticket. Glad I stuck with them or I'm pretty sure I would have gotten lost. I probably wouldn't have but it was fun talking to them. We boarded the plane from Tokyo at 2:10 I think. It wasn't a huge layover so that was good. I watched Micheal Jackson's This Is It and that was a freakin long movie! I did sleep on the plane so that was good. If you ever fly out of the country fly Korean Air. They are way good! They feed you and they are on top of things. I was very impressed with their airlines. Way to go Koreans! I saw a famous person on my plane ride from L.A. to Utah it was Tony Horton. If some of you don't know who that is well then you probably wouldn't think anything of it. I kind of wanted to get a picture with him but flying for 24 hrs I looked like crap! I got home a little after 1 pm and our friend Erik picked me up. He bought me a scrumptious meal from McDonald's with a Dr. Pepper. McDonald's never tasted soo good. McDonald's in the Philippines doesn't taste the same. I'm glad to be home but I actually miss being over at the Philippines. I'm excite if we do end up moving over there cause my kids will have a blast! We will see though.
