Super Saturday

It was such a busy Saturday for us. I started off the morning getting up at 6 am because Brock decided he needed to be up. I get him out of his crib and change his diaper and get him breakfast. While I break off pieces of a waffle for him I decided I would make some bran muffins (yummy). I get those all made and Jazmin wakes up and then Mariah. Brock was ready to go back down to sleep at 8 am and so I get Jazmin's hair done. She had a dress rehearsal at 10 a.m. for dance so I had to get hair, makeup, and her costume on. I was a little nervous to attempt this hair do that she had to have but I have to say it turned out way cute. I don't know how to do girl's hair and I end up with 2 girls that have gorgeous hair. I really need to start learning how to do different hair style other than pony tails. I get Jazmin all dolled up and my sister in law comes so she can watch Brock and Mariah (he starts to wake up so I decided to leave). I watched Jazmin do her 2 dances that they will be performing next week, and they all did really good. I run Jazmin over to the high school in Eagle Mountain because I signed her up for a drill camp and it started at 10 but we were an hour late because of dress rehearsal. So my little girl danced that morning from 10 to 2 p.m. I felt so bad. I went to pick her up and she told me her feet hurt. She's such a little trooper though.

Jazmin has been begging Brandon to take her to a Jazz game so he decided to do it now before the playoffs because the price goes up. The girls got their pink Jerseys on and we head off. Brock stayed behind with a babysitter. I was not about ready to take him it would have been a nightmare. I figured it would be such a bittersweet game because of the passing of Larry H. Miller. I was really shocked to see his wife sitting at the game and her husband and just barely passed away the night before. She is such a strong lady because I could have never done that. They had an awesome tribute to Larry H. Miller and I seriously got chills during that tribute. The lights were out and people yelling we love you and cheering it was a such an awesome feeling. We had fun though. Mariah totally loved the Jazz bear and Jazmin was trying to get on the jumbo screen. They both loved it when the Jazz dancers would dance during time outs, and they loved the confetti that fell from the ceiling after the Jazz won. They both threw little fits because the Jazz Bear didn't give them anything. I always have a blast at Jazz game and this time I got to see the Jazz bear a little bit closer than usually. Mariah wanted to give him a hug but he didn't come to our aisle we went to the one across from us. It was a good experience for them both but a last one for a really long time. We could tell they were a little bored but they did good.

I just can't believe how fast this month has gone. Jazmin will have her first competition next week and then Brock's birthday is next month. Where does the time go?
