Ah Crap

We have had our house up on the market since Jan of this year and between now and then we have had a total of 2 people look at our house. The Realtor usually gives me either a day in advance or a couple hours notice whenever anyone wants to come through. Well I usually clean my house on Thursday because both the girls are in school and Brock is taking his nap so it works out perfect for me. I decided that our lawn is looking like a jungle so I decided I will mow it because Brandon hasn't done it and garbage pick up is tomorrow. I mow it and by the time I'm done it's time to get Mariah. It was such a beautiful day that I decided to do some yard work to get ready to plant flowers. I know I'm a little behind in planting my flowers but we have been so busy every weekend this month. I get Jazmin make lunch vacuum a little downstairs and head outside to pull weeds. It's gymnastics day today so we leave our house at 2:30 to be there by 3 p.m. I drop Mariah off and drive off to grab a snack for Brock. I get a call from the Realtor and he says someone wants to see our house in 20 to 30 mins. I'm like you have got to be kidding me! My house is a disaster! I told him that it's fine but I'm not home and my house is messy. I hurry and call my neighbor and ask her if she can run over to my house because I had left a bra on my bed. My kind neighbor goes over there and cleans my house just a bit. She gets the bra off my bed and picks up my kitchen. I was thankful that I made my bed and picked up my room though. I'm not sure what they people thought of it but I was so embarrassed because my house is clean when someone is coming over. Well as clean as it gets with 3 kids and all. I figure oh well that's what they get for not giving a notice of any sort. They were in the neighborhood looking at other houses and they wanted to see our house, I guess.

I have to say I have such good neighbors. My neighborhood, who happens to be pregnant was so kind enough to do that for me. I couldn't ask for better neighbors than the ones I've got. Thank you, thank your kind neighbors and all the others that are in my neighborhood.

Selling a house really isn't that fun. I have learned my lesson and I am making sure that it's clean before I head out the door.

Oh, I don't think I would like that... I definatly don't like living "for sale". It is so hard! You do have great neighbors!

I hate when people go through your house that can't even afford it. When I sold my last house, I only let prequalified people look through it.
