Happy New Year! I have posted this picture of me and Brandon to let you all know that we are 2 old, lame, ducks. This is how we spent our new year's: we went to dinner, we settled for good old Porters in Lehi, everywhere else was a 2 hr wait for a party of 8 and 2 high chairs, went for dessert at Kneaders, which was awesome cause we didn't have to stand in a huge line the place was all ours, went to a friends house to pick up some things and then headed home. I put Brock to bed, and got the girls ready for bed and let them watch t.v. in their room while we watched a movie. I fell asleep while watching the movie around 11 pm and then Brandon and I head upstairs and never made it to midnight. Yeah that's how we spend our New Year's Eve just about every year. It's kind of tough when you have 3 kids and a baby that gets tired about 6:30-7 pm so it's not like we can go over someone's house and hang out. I told Brandon we need to do something cool next year he wants to go to some cabin and our friend wants to go to Oregon. It would be neat to go somewhere next year but if not, oh well we can't make it to midnight anyways.
New Year's is here so with that comes new year's resolutions. Brandon and I made some goals last year and some of them where achieved and some not but those can be carried on to this year. I really would love to get back into shape like how I was when I was doing boot camp. I felt so good about myself and I was so toned. So as of Monday it's back to the gym and eating a little bit healthier. I really want to be more patient with my kids. I'm hoping that this year I will be able to accomplish what goals I make if not I won't stress to much. I just want to be able to have a healthy family this year and no more scares!
There is one or two resolutions that have already been accomplished 1)basement got cleaned out today, yeah, and 2)Brock started crawling. Yup my little boy took his first crawl steps today. It was really cute and funny because he just was screaming his head off. I think he thinks he's not really going anywhere or he just wants to be picked up. I'm not sure if it's a good thing he's crawling because now I'm going to be that much more busy trying to get him out of trouble.
I hope everyone had a good new year's eve and hope that this year bring much joy and happiness.
