Slacker

The other day Brandon mentioned to me that I don't blog as much anymore, and it's the truth. I would blog at least once or twice a week but now it's not as much. It was so much easier to blog when the girls where at school because I would hurry and post something while Brock was taking his morning nap. Now we get up a little later, eat breakfast, get kids ready, put Brock down (try), and hurry and clean. My day was a lot easier when I only 2 at home and tonz easier when I had one at home during school. Summer isn't like what it use to be anymore. There were always kids out playing at all times of the day. Now, I don't see kids out til late afternoon here. My girls are so bored and they are always wanting to play with someone but either they aren't home or they can't play. They really don't like to play with each other because that ends up in fights most of the time, and me yelling at them to STOP. I think they will be enjoying summer a lot more now that it has stopped raining so we can put up the slide, and plus we have a couple of trips planned for the summer. I am excited because I get to ship the kids off to grandma's house for a couple of days right before we head off to Island Park. It will be grand cause I can hopefully finish my quilt that I have been working on for 3 years! I know it's hard to find time to finish the darn thing.

Since I am blogging now I figure I will hurry and blog about what's been going on. Father's Day was last week and we decided to give Brandon his gifts early so we didn't have to haul it up north with us. I made him a Jazz blanket and the girls gave him a mug and plate that they decorated themselves. We also gave him a pack of gum, red vines, and some new flip flops. He enjoyed all the gifts that he received and we had a great time with him. We went up north on Friday night because it was Brandon's 10 year high school reunion in Logan. I have to admit it was a bit awkward because I knew no one, except for my cousin. We sat at a table with my cousin and his wife and there 2 other girls that Brandon could not remember for the life of him. It was good though cause they were telling funny stories. I having those 2 girls sitting at our table made it a little bit less awkward and one of the girls lives in Washington and has been on the twilight tour in Forks twice. I thought that was pretty cool. Brandon said he had fun and he plans on going to his 20 year reunion but for me I'm not sure if I want to go to my 10. I found out when it is and I've marked that I may go but not sure yet. It's just weird to see all these people that you went to high school with 10 years later.

Jazmin made the competition team so we are proud of her. She went up one level in her dance competition team so that's good. Mariah will try out next year if she doesn't complain about dance. The girls are in cheer and are loving it. They will be getting uniforms soon and they are excited for that because it comes with little pom poms.

I will try harder to blog more and stick more pictures up. I know for sure I will be posting more pictures up because of all the events we will be going to over the summer.
