Today I went to my 2 week post op and it went good. The doctor said my inciscion is looking good and hopefully it stays that way! I was pretty pumped when I asked him when I could start working out again and he said I can start walking right now and basically build my self up. I can start to lift heavy things a month from the last surgery which is coming up really soon! I'm dying to hit the gym and get this blah of a stomach to go down and get all toned up and shed some pounds. I'm hoping that I will be able to get down to what I looked liked before I got pregnant so I can fit into my old jeans.
Ok enough of that I wanted to say that I finally finished Brock's rag quilt! I worked on it last night and it was hard because Brock did not want to be in his car seat anymore he wanted me to hold him so that put me behind. It doesn't look that bad for being my first rag quilt. Brandon told me it looked good so that made me happpy.
Well I better get caught up with the laundry. I swear I miss a day and it get all piled up it never will ever end from here on out.

Little person extra load
Well I've made it through the week of being by myself with 3 kids! That was no easy fete either because I had to constantly yell at the girls to stop fighting. It was so much easier to handle with 2 because you have 2 arms, but add another that gets kind of tough. I just need to grow an extra arm. It's amazing how life changes as soon as you throw in a new baby. We are so use to going out to eat every weekend or going to a movie, that all changes now for awhile. I'm in lock down mode with Brock until the end of this month when RSV season is over. I don't want him getting sick and having to go to the hospital again that would so suck! Brandon is wondering why I'm being over protective but I just want to make sure he doesn't get sick with that nasty virus. I'm so excited for when Brandon comes home today because I actually get to get out of the house for a couple of hours tonight and go shopping. Brandon is going to watch the kids and I'm heading to the store to get Jazmin a couple of outfits for spring and get some other things that I need. I'm so excited. I've been inside for the last 3 weeks! I'm going crazy! I can't wait for next week when I get to run the girls around and get back to our daily routine. This week was spring break so they didn't have dance and Jazmin doesn't have school. That should help a ton with my little cabin fever I've got going on. Now if only the weather would just stay warm and stop snowing and dropping into the 40's that would be perfect!

Wild Rollercoaster
Wow, it's been awhile since I've last blogged. If you all don't know Brock got discharged on the first Friday of April and then the next day I got sent back to the hospital for another surgery. I was so excited for my baby to come home that I downplayed how sick I was. I didn't want anyone to tell me I had to go back to the hospital and not be there when Brock got home. When we took him home I told my aunt Sheree that I wasn't feeling very good and I went upstairs to rest. I had another fever and we called the doctor on call and he told me to wait til Sunday. If I wasn't feeling good go to the ER so that they can do a CT scan. Well Saturday came and I just sat in the recliner all day not feeling good with yet another fever. Brandon's aunt left that afternoon and his parents were coming down to visit us. When they got to our house Brandon wasn't liking how I was feeling so we went to the ER. I got my scan and they found that I had 2 abscess in and out of my uterus so they had to reopen me up again. I was in the hospital for 4 days it totally sucked!!! I was so miserable because my baby was home and I only got to enjoy him for one night before I was off to the hospital again. While I was in the hospital my milk supply went down and I could no longer nurse Brock. I was so sad and cried and cried. I started to blame myself but I knew it wasn't my fault. I could have pumped every 2 hours to get my supply back but I was so anemic and so weak that we figured I needed to take care of me first. I got out of the hospital on a Wednesday got my staples taken out and went straight to my mom's house. I was so done by Friday that I begged Brandon to take me home Saturday but he wouldn't let me go home til Sunday. Now it's Sunday and it's so good to be home!!! I finally will be able to get back to my routine, with ease though. I have pictures of Brock but I can't find the camera right now but pictures will go up soon, I promise.

Update on Brock
I forgot to mention how much Brock weighted and his length. Brock weighted 7 lbs 7 oz and 21 inches long, now if he would have went full term I would have been in big trouble!
We went to see him on Saturday with my parents and it was so sad cause his little feet were so swollen from all of the fluids they are giving him and his lipid levels were alright. Later that night the doctor called and his lipid levels dropped so they had to give him a palate transfusion. I couldn't take it anymore and I just started to cry that night. He does so good and then he goes down I told Brandon I just want my baby home. Sunday I was so sick of just sitting around that I had to do something. I was tired of crying and feeling helpless so it was good to do a little cleaning and I got to work on his quilt so that made me feel happy. We went down and his levels were up and I also got to change his messy diaper. I was kind of scared because of all the wires he has on him. I didn't want to pull them out. It went ok, it was different changing a boy though because of all the creases and folds but I did it!
Monday was the day we were suppose to receive the results from his MRI but they were not in yet so hopefully today they will be in. I got to nurse him yesterday, well I had to pump first and then see if he would latch on and he did! He was so hungry and mad but as soon as they put him in my arms he calmed down latched on and sucked a little bit. I also got to see him with his eyes opened for the first time. Well he only opened one and he was just looking around it was so cute. The nurse has never seen his eyes opened either until yesterday. I'm hoping his puffiness will go down really soon so he can open both of his eyes.
I'm doing really good other than my back kills me and I have the chills like no other and wake up soaking wet with sweat. I know that sounds really disgusting! I just have to say I give props to my friend Reagan! I don't know how you do it but you are seriously the strongest mom I know. You have gone through so much the last year and a half I applaud you. You are seriously the #1 mom and I know that one day Piper will be able to go home with you.
Well I'm off to take a shower but I thought I would give you and update on Brock. I have some new pictures that I will post here soon I just don't feel like walking down the stairs to get the camera.

Miracle Baby
Wow it's been awhile since I've updated my posts. I've been extremely busy getting ready for baby. As you all know I was extremely miserable and I broke out in a pregnancy rash called PUPPS (not fun!!!), and then I sprained my ankle which caused my left foot to swell up pretty good. We had a good and relaxing Easter and then things started to happen.
On Monday March 24th I started making my baby's blanket and had to get it done by the end of the week. I spent all day cutting out the squares for his rag quilt and went to bed at 11:30 pm. I went to bed and at 2:30 Tuesday morning (March 25) I woke up freaking out because I couldn't remember my baby move at all on Monday. I kept waking up throughout that morning with contractions and I just had a weird feeling. When Brandon woke up I told him that I was going to call the doctor cause I couldn't remember if the baby moved yesterday (Monday) and he hasn't moved today. So after taking Mariah to dance I decided to go to the gym and walk on the treadmill, still no baby move. I stopped by the gas station and got a chocolate doughnut and a Dr. Pepper and would drink the pepper after I got home. I picked Mariah up from dance and called the doctor. I told them that I was 37 weeks and I haven't felt my baby move. They told me to come in at 1:30 it was 11:15 when I called. I get home, get the girls lunch and drink my peppper and laid downed no baby movement. I had this sick feeling in my stomach and I was getting really scared. I drop the girls off at my friend Silene's house and head to my appointment. They do a non stress test and I heard the baby's heart beat but then all of a sudden his heart rate dropped down to the mid 80's and I got really scared. I didn't know what to do and it went back up. After an hour or so the nurse comes back rips the paper off and takes it to the midwife. The nurse comes back and tells me to go straight to labor and delivery because the midwife didn't like how the heart rate dropped so low at one point. I call Brandon and tell him I'm going over to the hospital and I will meet him there. I get there and they put the monitor on me and again the heart rate dropped when I would get a contraction. The nurse came back and checked me, I was dilated to a 3 and she told me I wasn't going home. The baby's heart rate dropped again and the midwife on call decided to admit me and told me I was having a baby today. I get admitted and to a room and I get my epidural (sorry don't know how to spell that word) and she checks me again and I'm at a 4. They start me on pit and the midwife told me we will try to have this baby vaginally, but if the baby is to stress then we would have to do a c-section. She leaves then comes back in with the doctor on call and he tells me that they don't like how the baby's heart rate is going down with contractions and that they want to do a c-section. I wasn't ok with that but if it meant to get my baby here safe I will do it. I get in the surgery room and they prep me. The epidural wasn't working so they had to put me to sleep. They next thing I know I hear the doctor's trying to wake me up and I'm in my room but no baby. I can hear Brandon in the background making calls and he sounded really sad. My baby came out of me white as white can be and he was in cardiac arrest. There was a respiratory therapist in the room and he performed CPR and order to get a blood transfusion for my baby. My baby came out very anemic and had no blood in him. The therapist was able to revive my baby but he had to be transported to Provo to the NICU. I got to see my baby before they transported him. It was really hard because I wasn't able to hold him, touch him, or feed him. I got out of the hospital on Thursday March 27th and went straight over to Provo to see him. He was looking good. He was taken off his ventilator but still had his tube to feed. I got to hold him and change his diaper and help take him a sponge bath. We go see him everyday twice a day and I pump my milk so they can feed him through his tube. He's a strong little one and so cute. We decide to name him Brock Brandon Godfrey. He won't be coming home for a couple of weeks but that's fine with me because I just want to make sure he will be ok when he comes. I will let you know how Brock does. Goodbye beautiful weather
I'm pretty bummed that today is going to be the last day of such nice weather. Do you realize how nice it was to be able to go outside and just have the kids play all day long? I've had such bad cabin fever the last couple of months that I'm hoping the weather won't be too bad. As long as it doesn't snow and stick I'm fine with that.
I've been kind of preparing for this baby to come I just don't know what to do anymore. I guess I can finish some projects that I've had but that just don't sound like something I want to do right now. It's been nice having a little bit more energy though and not feeling like I need to take a daily nap. The only thing that's driving me crazy is this stupid rash or something on my belly that totally just itches! We will see if it goes away here by Friday and if not, into the doctor's office. I always get a little wishful thinking and hope that they will tell me oh looks like we have to get you started right now, but I know that won't happen.
Brandon is doing pretty good. I'm really thankful for all that he's done for me during this pregnancy. I know that I'm totally driving him nuts and he can't wait till this little guy comes out so I can be nice again. I would like to see him carry around his boy for 9 months and see if he's grumpy. He's doing really good except for the fact that I think he's getting sick again. He just got over being sick and he's getting sick again at least me and the girls haven't gotten sick (knock on wood).
Well better get going to run Jazmin off to her dance class
