First Day of School

Today was the first day of school and I couldn't be more ecstatic. I wanted to do cartwheels and backflips. The girls have been horrible the last two weeks and school couldn't come any sooner for them. We had a great summer but because they have been out of school since April, it was time for them to go back. To make this day even better the girls are in school all day today so I now only have 1 child at home. Peace at last! I took pictures of the girls and waited out in the back with Mariah so she wouldn't get scared. She lined up where her class was suppose to line up and she was nervous, I think she was at least. She kept telling me that she wasn't suppose to be here and I kept telling her yes it is there's the sign. I do have to admit that even though I've been looking forward for them to go to school I got a little choked up. I can't believe that my baby is in 1st grade now and Jazmin is in 2nd! Just shows you how fast they grow up. Now it's just me and the little romper at home so it will be good for a little one on one time with him because before I know it he will be off to school too. That will be a sad day when that happens because then I will have no more babies. Oh I'm getting sad now. Let's talk about something happier. On another note I went to lunch with my neighbor this afternoon and it was fun. She texted me saying Cafe Rio sounded good and I told her lets go so we did. It was nice to only have to take ONE child and he was good! He always is when he doesn't have his sisters around. Well off to pick up the girls but thought I would share with you my excitement of back to school. Wohooo!

I think children don't feel like going to school after a long holiday is very normal, but it changes once they found their friends again in the school.
