Mariah's birthday was on July 12th and she turned 6 years old! Wow I can't believe how fast these years are flying by. Mariah really wanted a pillow pet for her birthday so we got her a ladybug and it's pretty darn cute. She absolutely loves that thing and packs it whenever we head to grandma and grandpa's house. Mariah is excited to start 1st grade and she made the competition team so that's a big accomplishment for her. She is my little squishy and we love her to pieces.
After Mariah's party we put up my parent's tent and slept out in their backyard. The kids had lots of fun and Brandon never made it the whole night. He went in the house around 11 pm. He didn't rough it out but he was also sleeping on the cot outside of the tent.
