Fun Weekend

We headed up north on Friday because I had to do a long run so we stayed at my parent's house. When we get up to my parent's house on Friday we just bummed around. Saturday morning I got up at 4:30 a.m. (I know sick huh) so that I could go and meet my friend in Honeyville for our long run we had to run. It's nice to run with someone but I feel so bad because towards the end of our run I don't know what else to talk about so it's kind of silence here and there. I try not to call my friend during the week so that I can talk to her about stuff but then I run out of conversation. I have no clue how our 20 mile run conversation is going to go but we will see. Anyyy whooo got that run out of the way and then we headed out to Tremonton. We got to see Avalyn, and she is sooo stinking cute. It's hard for me to imagine that Ashlee is a mommy now and she has to take care of a little one 24/7 for life instead of watching kids for a couple of hours. We will miss Ashlee watching our kids for us but now it's our turn to watch her kids for her when she needs us to. After visiting for a bit we headed out to Fielding to see Grandma Godfrey and to look for some picture spots. We took the four wheelers out there so that we could give the kids a ride. We went to see the barn where Brandon's Uncle and Aunt have their sheep and it was fun to help feed the sheep. I absouletly loved the barn and it's such a cute spot to take some pictures so I'm going to take the kids pictures there after I'm all done with this whole marathon thing. I also volunteered myself to do some farm work at his uncle and aunt's farm. I told Brandon I want to know what it's like to do farm work so I guess I will see here when the 3rd crop comes. I think I've got a long hard day ahead of me when that time comes. We rode to his other uncle's farm and went to his uncle's park that he built for his family. We had a blast out there and Brock loved every minute of it. He is such a BOY. Loves dirt, 4 wheelers, guns, deers, everything that boys love so does Brock.  I also got to experience riding up to Willard Peak. I didn't bring my camera and I'm kicking myself for that because it was gorgeous up there. There were tonz and tonz of wildflowers and it was sooo green. I wish I could have enjoyed the summit view but I didn't bring a long sleeve shirt and or sweatshirt and I was freezing when we got up to the top. I can't believe that I have lived in Box Elder County my entire life and never went up to Willard Peak I lived a sheltered life. Next time we go up I will bring my camera to show the view and the beautiful wildflowers. This was a much needed weekend that we needed to have. We have been going up North the last couple of weekends but leave Saturday night so our stays are very very short so this was way fun. Now we enter a new week and I'm hoping it flies by because that will mean school will get here very soon. The countdown is on for school to start-2 weeks!
