Girls vs Boy

I now know that having a boy is so so so much different than having girls! Brock is so freaking busy and he gets into everything I am so worn out by 5 p.m! The girls were so sweet and so good and I didn't have to baby proof anything because they would stop whenever you would say no. It was always with a sad face and cry but they would stop. Mariah did get into the kitchen utensils when she was mobile but didn't make a big mess like Brock does. The girls hated hated being dirty! Brock is a whole different story. I have to start baby proofing my house because of him. He is constantly getting into the pantry and helping himself into whatever he can get that is at his level. If there is a box of crackers open and he can get to it there will be a little trail of crumbs throughout the house and I know he got into something. I have to baby proof the utensil drawer and all of the cabinets that are his level. There is no point in cleaning the house because it will look like a tornado has hit 5 times inside my house. There are trucks and cars and books all sorts of toys everywhere. I have to look in the garbage can to make sure he hasn't thrown anything away. I have found some plates and cups in there before. I always make sure the toilet seats are down and bathroom doors are at least close because he's played in the toilet before. The toaster and popcorn popper are constantly in the middle of the kitchen all the time. By the time 5 pm rolls around I am ready for him to go to bed. He is so busy and I love him to pieces but give me a break Brock. He's to cute to stay mad at though. He looks at me with those big brown eyes and then he smiles and I'm done for. I love having both worlds and I'm sure as Brock gets older it will be more interesting around the house. I'm a little worried for my walls because of what I've heard about boys and walls. Dents, color, and scratches here we come in a couple of years or who knows months. Love my kids though.
