Homework is no fun

The girls have been in school for 3 weeks or so and it's going great. Jazmin is doing a lot better now than her first day of school. I think her first day of school she just got up so early that she was tired. Plus going from half day to full day is an adjustment in itself. Mariah is loving school and she tells me what so does everyday. The only thing that I am running into that's a problem for Jazmin is homework. She is on B track so she gets out at 3:30. I know pretty late huh. I feel so old when I tell her the "when I went to school" stories. Never thought I would ever do that but I do. Anyways, so as soon as she gets out of school she has a snack and I let her watch a little cartoons for 10 mins and it's homework time. We do her math, spelling words and whatever else she has. By the time we are all done she only has like 30 mins to play before I have to take her and Mariah to whatever they have. On Tuesdays they have cheer and Wednesdays they have dance. She got so mad yesterday because homework took a little longer and she really didn't have too much time to play. She says she hates B track and homework. The world is horrible to her I tell you. Next year that plan is to have them both on A track, but I'm a little worried about that because they have to wake up earlier to go to school earlier. We will see how the school year ends. I may be pulling my hair out because of the little things that Jazmin does that is driving me nuts about school. At least she stopped complaining about school lunch.
