Ever since I can remember my family and I have always gone to Peach Days. We use to live not to far from main street and Brigham so it was just a walk for us. My mom would take me and my sister to the kiddie parade and then the big parade on Saturday morning. We would go get the scuba burgers once the stands were selling food and then grab some yummy peach cobbler. We would ride the rides and sometimes we were able to play the carnival games. As I got older I would go hang out at night with my friends but I would always watch the parade with my mom. I've gotten older now and I have kids and I still go to Peach Days. I've missed a couple of years here and there but I try to head down to Brigham City to enjoy my precious Peach Day. So many memories. Oh yea and they have a 10K race on Saturday right before the parade and me and my friend from school will be running it. I tried to get my uncle to run it with me (it's been a goal of his to run the Peach Days 10K race so he says) but he bailed on me. He said next year. So now I will be running this race down the parade route so everyone can see. I seriously may be getting some glasses to disguise myself.
This year it just so happens to be my 10 year class reunion on Peach Days. I was thinking about going and decided alright I will go but then the girls ended up having something going on the same night. Saved! I just don't know if I really wanted to go and see a bunch of people I really don't care to see. I have facebook and I talk to those people that I want to talk to. Besides you end up bumping into a bunch of people from school during Peach Days so that in itself is like a reunion. I didn't go to my 5, I'm not going to my 10, maybe I will go to my 15 or 20th. We will see.
