Offer
We've had our house up on the market now for 7 months and not a single offer. We have had tonz of people come through but no takers. Our house is priced a little higher than all the other houses in our neighborhood but we are not that desperate to move. I was half tempted to tell Brandon lets take it down because no one wants to pay what we are asking for. Our house is priced at $209,000 while all the other houses are below $200,000. It's cute because the girls have been praying for our house to sell fast so that we can move, and I'm just thinking no don't pray for that. We love our neighborhood. We love how there is a park across the street from our house and they have good friends. I don't think the girls are realizing that if we move they lose their park, their swing set in the backyard, and they have to get new friends. Well Wednesday night I get a call from the realator and he tells me that we have a offer. I couldn't believe. After being on the market for 7 months finally someone has made an offer. Our realator comes out to our house Wednesday night so that we could see their offer and accept or counter back. We knew that they were really serious when their offer was $205,000 (only $4000 below what we are offering). The only thing we didn't like was that they wanted us to pay their closing costs. So we countered back with 2 different options that they can choose from. If we can sell our house for $209,000 everyone in our neighborhood will be doing back flips. No one in our neighborhood has been able to sell their house over $200,000. We will see. Brandon thinks that these people really love our house and our emotionally attached. I don't know what to think. I love my friends that we have made here and love love my neighborhood. We will see what these people decide on doing. No all we do is wait.
